Job summary

DocStar Medical Partners in Rock Island, IL seeks a BC/BE Urologist (MD/DO) for credentialing-based, temporary coverage. IL license required; IA in-process welcome. Schedule favors 2 weeks on/2 weeks off with 24-hour call from 7pm–7pm and bedside response within 60 minutes.

You will perform a mix of OR days and clinic visits (bread-and-butter urology, cystoscopy, trauma), collaborate with experienced Urologists and APPs, and ensure continuity of care across inpatient and outpatient services.

Qualifications

• IL active license required; IA license in-process welcome.
• BC/BE Urology accepted.
• BLS, ACLS (ATLS preferred).
• 12–24 months of case logs desired, credentialing will be based on availability.

Responsibilities

• 24-hour call coverage with 15-minute phone response and 60-minute bedside response.
• 1–2 OR days per week; 2–3 clinic days per week.
• Perform urologic procedures and clinic visits; ensure continuity of care across inpatient and outpatient services.

Work Schedule:

Prefer 2 weeks on/ 2 weeks off

24-hour call coverage from 7pm-7pm, 7-day stints (Monday pm to Monday pm), 2 weeks per month available, extremely flexible

• Provide 24-hour call coverage with a 15-minute response by phone and 60-minute response at bedside from hotel
• 1-2 procedures on OR days, 2-3 OR days per week

Cases/ Procedures:

Performsurgical procedures with block time allocated in the OR and clinic visits.

Collaborate with a team of experienced Urologists and full-time Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).

Provide continuity of care across outpatient clinics and inpatient service

Types of Cases:Bread-and-butter urology, cystoscopy, trauma consults
