Job summary

Aya Locums has an immediate opening for a locum Radiology physician in Las Cruces, NM. The assignment runs 26 weeks with a standard 5/8-hour shift schedule from 09:00 to 17:00 and pay between $260 and $385 per hour.

The position requires MD/DO, radiology residency, ABR/AOA certification and NM medical license, with potential for subspecialty experience. Start date 12-07-26 and no call responsibilities accompany the role.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Residency in diagnostic radiology (ACGME or AOA)
• Fellowship in radiology subspecialty optional depending on position

Responsibilities

• Interpret a wide range of diagnostic imaging studies (X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound)
• Provide accurate and timely radiology reports to referring physicians
• Collaborate with clinicians to diagnose and manage patient conditions based on imaging findings
• Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and rounds as required
• Adhere to quality assurance and safety protocols in radiology
• May perform interventional radiology procedures as per facility requirements
• Provide on-call coverage when needed
