Precision Radiation Oncology in Rhode Island seeks a board-certified/board-eligible Radiation Oncologist for longer-term locum tenens coverage, with options for full-time or part-time scheduling through June 2027. The role involves evaluating patients, developing personalized treatment plans, and supervising radiation delivery within a collaborative, multidisciplinary oncology team.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• US board-certified or board-eligible in Radiation Oncology.
• Active Rhode Island license or eligibility to obtain licensure.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate and manage patients requiring radiation oncology services.
• Conduct consultations, follow-up visits, and treatment assessments.
• Develop and supervise individualized radiation treatment plans.
• Collaborate with medical oncologists, surgeons, medical physicists, dosimetrists, radiation therapists, and nursing staff.
• Review treatment planning and verify appropriate treatment delivery.
• Monitor patient response to therapy and manage treatment-related side effects.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation.
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and care coordination activities as needed.
