Medicus Healthcare Solutions is assisting a hospital near Baltimore, Maryland, in locating a Psychiatrist for locum tenens coverage. The role features a Mon-Fri 8a-5p schedule, with two weekend call shifts monthly, to cover a 22-bed unit serving adults with acute mood disorders.

The successful candidate will join a supportive team including RNs, APPs, therapists, and fellow psychiatrists, with Sunrise EMR used for charting.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible psychiatrist required.

Responsibilities

• Provide locum tenens psychiatry coverage for adults.
• Schedule: Mon-Fri 8a-5p with 2 weekend calls per month.
• Care for a 22-bed unit with daily patient volume of 10–11.
