Job summary

77 consultants is seeking an Associate-level physician for a contract, on-site Locum Primary Care role. You will provide comprehensive patient care in a supportive clinical environment, with an emphasis on preventive care and management of acute and chronic conditions in an outpatient setting. Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm.

Patient volume about 12 per day; focus on adult and geriatric veterans. Must hold MD or DO, board certified or eligible in Primary Care, and be licensed in the state.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Active medical license in the state.
• Board certification or eligibility in Primary Care.
• Proficiency with EMR CPRS systems.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to all ages.
• Perform exams and obtain medical histories.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions.
• Develop and implement care plans for patients.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe medications when appropriate.
• Deliver preventive care and health screenings.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with specialists and care team.
• Educate patients on health management and prevention.
• Ensure compliance with medical regulations and standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
