Job summary

Medicus Healthcare Solutions is partnering with a clinic in eastern California to provide locum tenens primary care coverage. The schedule spans 3-6 days per week from 8a to 5p with a 1:6 after-hours call rotation and a patient load of 16-20 daily.

The team includes APPs, MAs, RNs, and a lab staff, using Cerner for EHR and Dragon for dictation. Travel and lodging are provided, along with malpractice coverage and licensing/credentialing support.

Qualifications

• Must be board-certified in family medicine or internal medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide locum tenens primary care coverage in eastern California.
• See 16-20 patients per day, 3-6 days per week, 8a-5p.
• Participate in 1:6 after-hours call rotation.
• Collaborate with APPs, MAs, RNs, and lab staff.
• Document care in Cerner and use Dragon for dictation.
