Job summary

77 consultants seeks a Locum Primary Care Physician to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care in an on-site Minnesota clinic. The role emphasizes preventive care, chronic disease management, and coordination with an integrated care team.

You will handle a broad scope of primary care duties, including immunizations, preventive screenings, and care planning, in a supportive clinical environment. DEA and CPR/BLS are required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Minnesota medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Board certification or board eligibility in a primary care specialty.
• Active DEA registration and CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong clinical judgment and effective patient communication.
• Experience in an on-site, fast-paced outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, histories, and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic primary care conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Provide preventive care, health screenings, and immunizations as indicated.
• Order, interpret, and follow up on laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging.
• Prescribe medications and monitor patient response and adherence.
• Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, specialists, and other care team members.
• Educate patients and families on health promotion and self-management.
• Maintain compliance with clinical guidelines and practice policies.
