Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare seeks a radiologist to cover a busy outpatient clinic in Houston, TX. The role involves daily CT and MR reads, plus fluoroscopy and X-ray interpretation, with a focus on cancer reads as required.

Board-certified radiologists with willingness to travel for locum assignments will be preferred. Competitive compensation and paid travel/housing expenses are provided, along with 24-hour Weatherby consultant support.

Qualifications

• Board-certified radiologist with current credentials.

Responsibilities

• Read CT scans (approx. 35/day) and MRI studies (abdomen/pelvis 7–10/day).
• Perform fluoroscopy/X-ray reads (5–10/day).
• Support outpatient clinic operations and cancer reads as required.

Job description

• 8 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday -- 2 weeks per month
• 100 reads per day
• CT: ~35 reads daily; MR: 7 - 10 abdomen and pelvis studies
• Fluoroscopy/X-ray: 5 - 10 reads per day
• Outpatient clinic setting
• Cancer reads required
