Job summary

CompHealth is recruiting for locum psychiatry shifts in the New York area. The role involves ER/CPEP coverage within the ED, with a patient mix of 75% adults and 25% children/adolescents.

Shifts run overnight with several weekly patterns; onsite availability is required and no on-call duties are expected. CompHealth provides you with housing and travel arrangements, malpractice coverage, credentialing support, and a dedicated recruiter to manage every detail.

• 8–12 patients per 8 hr shift; ages 5 and up.
• CPEP within the ED.
• Social worker support available for most patient evaluations.
• Vacation coverage.

• No call – onsite and available for full shift duration.
• We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly.
