Job summary

CompHealth is helping place a pediatric pulmonology locum tenens physician for inpatient and outpatient coverage in California, Long Beach. Typical schedule: M-F, 8 am–5 pm, with 24-hour call and a measured clinic flow.

We arrange complimentary housing and travel, provide malpractice coverage, assist with credentialing, and offer potential permanent placement through a dedicated recruiter who handles every detail.

• Inpatient and outpatient pediatric pulmonology setting

Responsibilities

• M-F, 8 am - 5 pm -- inpatient, outpatient, and rounding
• 24hr call -- 8 am - 8 am rotation
• 8 patients per half day in clinic
• New patient: 40 min -- follow up: 20 min
• Vacation coverage -- ongoing coverage potential while awaiting permanent hire
• Option to transition into a permanent position
