Job summary

CompHealth locums division seeks an anesthesia provider to cover pediatric and adult general anesthesia cases, including regional techniques. You will work 7 am–5 pm with beeper call rotations, perform MAC, intubation, A-line placement, and manage epidural/spinal anesthesia.

Board-certified candidates with pediatric and adult experience are preferred. We arrange complimentary housing and travel and offer weekly pay.

Qualifications

  • Must be board certified in anesthesia.
  • Experience with pediatric and adult general anesthesia.
  • Proficient in MAC, intubation, and A-line placement.
  • Comfort with OB, ortho, and regional anesthesia procedures.
  • Willing to work 7am–5pm with overnight beeper call rotations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide anesthesia care for pediatric and adult cases (general, regional).
  • Manage airway, intubation, MAC, IV access, and monitoring.
  • Perform epidural/spinal anesthesia and regional techniques.
  • Coordinate with surgical teams for OB and orthopaedic cases.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and post-operative recovery oversight.

  • Shifts: 7 am - 5 pm with overnight beeper call rotations

  • Emergent and elective procedures -- peds healthy and complex cases
  • Preferred: neonatal anesthesia and neuro cases (head and spine)
  • Epidural, spinal, and regional anesthesia surgical skills preferred
  • Board certification required
