Job summary

CompHealth is seeking an orthopedic surgeon to cover inpatient services across two Waterloo-area locations. You will work block schedules with a census of 10–20 patients daily and provide ICU-capable inpatient coverage.

The role includes emergency and consultative calls, with housing, travel, and licensing arrangements handled by the team. The ideal candidate is fellowship-trained in orthopedic surgery, comfortable with all age populations, and prepared for leave coverage.

Qualifications

• Fellowship trained in orthopedic surgery.
• Inpatient facility coverage experience or ability to cover inpatient units.
• Familiarity with ICU care capabilities and emergent consults.

Responsibilities

• Block scheduling—work full stretches as assigned.
• Census of 10–20 patients daily across both locations.
