Qualifications

• BLS and PALS certification required.
• Inpatient obstetric practice with delivery experience.
• Shift-based call with 12- or 24-hour blocks.

Responsibilities

• Provide locum tele- or on-site obstetric care as assigned.
• Admit patients at a rate of 10–15 per shift.
• Perform and manage C-sections, vaginal deliveries, breech births and operative GYN as needed.
• Maintain 7-minute call response time and 1:4 call ratio.
• Utilize credentialing and privileging support from a recruiter.

• Call only -- 12 hr (7am - 7pm) or 24 hr (7am - 7am) shifts
• Call ratio: 1:4 -- 7 min response time required
• 10 - 15 patients per shift -- admissions required
• Inpatient practice setting
• ~150 deliveries per year
• C-section, vaginal delivery, breech, operative GYN required
• BLS and PALS certification required
