Job summary

CompHealth provides in-house OB hospitalist services, covering 7 am to 7 am shifts in a hospital-based inpatient setting in California. The role handles deliveries, rounds, laboring patients and C-section backup, with an estimated volume described as about two deliveries per day.

Locum coverage is ongoing, typically around six shifts per month per location. CompHealth negotiates competitive pay and offers complimentary housing, travel, and comprehensive malpractice coverage, while streamlining

Responsibilities

• OB hospitalist shifts 7am–7am (24 hours)
• Approx. 2 deliveries per day – 700 per year delivery volume
• Hospital-based inpatient setting
• Full scope OB/GYN hospitalist: L&D, ED gyn, ectopics, torsion
• Deliveries, rounds, laboring patients, C-section backup
• Ongoing coverage – approx. 6 shifts per month per locum
• We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
• We arrange complimentary housing and travel and comprehensive malpractice coverage
• We simplify the credentialing and privileging process
• Access to online portal for assignment details and time entry
