Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking an Interventional Radiology professional in Michigan to cover both outpatient and inpatient IR procedures, including embolizations, angiograms, and thrombolysis. The assignment includes admissions and rounding, with no on-call duties required.

The role offers paid malpractice insurance and pre-paid travel and housing expenses, plus 24-hour access to a Weatherby consultant. This is a charter member of NALTO.

Qualifications

• IR experience required or preferred.
• Ability to manage both outpatient and inpatient IR cases.
• Comfort with embolizations, angiograms, thrombolysis, and IVC filter placements/removals.
• Willingness to read diagnostic cases between procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform embolizations, angiograms, thrombolysis, and IVC filter placements/removals.
• Handle emergency IR procedures and inpatient rounds as needed.
• Care for both outpatient and inpatient IR cases; admissions and rounding included.
• Read diagnostic cases between procedures when possible.
• No on-call requirement.

Job description

• Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 3:30 pm, 8-hour shifts
• Both outpatient and inpatient care -- admissions and rounding included
• Vascular and non-vascular procedures required
• Embolization, angiograms, thrombolysis, IVC filter placements/removals
• Emergency IR procedures -- nephrostomies, cholecystostomies, abscess drainages
• Ability to read diagnostic cases between procedures preferred
• No call required
• Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
• Assignment details and time entry in online portal
