Job summary

CompHealth is seeking a hospitalist locums physician to cover STEMI-centric shifts nationwide. The role features in-house call coverage five days per month, 15–20 patient encounters and 20–25 phone consults per 24-hour period.

STEMI admissions are handled by hospitalists; rapid STEMI response is required within 30 minutes. Ongoing assignments begin ASAP, with housing, travel and comprehensive malpractice coverage arranged by CompHealth.

Qualifications

• In-house call coverage experience required.
• 5 days per month, Monday–Friday call schedule.
• STEMI admissions are limited to STEMI admissions; hospitalists handle other admissions.

Responsibilities

• Provide STEMI coverage, with rapid response times.
• See 15–20 patients and 20–25 phone consults per 24-hour call period.
• Coordinate with CompHealth recruiters and credentialing team.
• Await ongoing assignments with ASAP start; housing and travel arrangements provided.
