Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking in-house call coverage for an Interventional Cardiology hospitalist role in Fort Smith, AR. You will handle STEMI-call responses, see 15–20 patients during calls, and work with hospitalists on non-STEMI admissions within a fast-paced setting.

The assignment offers ongoing coverage, paid malpractice insurance, and pre-paid travel and housing, plus 24-hour consultant access and active involvement in NALTO. Competitive compensation is provided.

Qualifications

• In-house call 5 days per month (Mon-Fri).
• 15-20 patients seen during call period.
• No admissions unless STEMI – hospitalists manage all other admissions.
• STEMI call coverage required – response under 30 minutes.
• Interventional cardiology procedures required.
• Ongoing coverage opportunity.
• Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses.
• Assignment details and time entry in online portal.
• Charter member of NALTO.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-house call coverage for cardiac patients during assigned periods.
