Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a locum tenens primary care clinician for an outpatient geriatric Medicare Advantage panel in Texas. Expect a Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm schedule with 12–16 patients per day. No specific procedures required beyond general outpatient PC; paid malpractice insurance and pre-paid travel/housing are part of the package.

Assignment details and time entry are managed in Weatherby's online portal, with 24-hour access to a Weatherby consultant for support and coordination.

Qualifications

• Physician with current Texas medical license or clear licensure process.
• Experience in outpatient primary care, geriatric panels preferred.
• Comfort working in a locum tenens assignment with travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient primary care to geriatric Medicare Advantage patients.
• See 12–16 patients per day in a Monday–Friday schedule.
• Document care and coordinate with Weatherby support services.
