Job summary

CompHealth is seeking a clinician for a night ICU assignment in Shiprock, NM. The role involves inpatient ICU care, vent management and critical care procedures during a 7:30 pm–7:30 am shift, 7 on/7 off, with about 14 shifts monthly.

Ideal candidates have recent inpatient and ICU experience, including central lines and high‑flow oxygen therapies. CompHealth handles credentialing, housing, travel, and malpractice coverage to simplify the assignment.

Qualifications

• Recent inpatient and ICU experience required.
• Ability to manage vents, central lines and high‑flow oxygen therapies.
• Experience with ICU procedures and critical care medication management.

Responsibilities

• Night shift coverage: 7:30 pm–7:30 am, 7 on/7 off, ~14 shifts per month.
• Provide ICU level care for admitted patients with ventilator support.
• Assist with procedures and coordinate care with ICU/Med‑Surg teams.
• Credentialing, housing, travel logistics arranged by CompHealth.

• Approximately 0 - 3 admissions per night


• Inpatient facility with ICU and Med/Surg unit


• ICU care required -- vents, bipap/cpap, high flow nasal cannula, central line


• Preferred procedures: paracentesis, LP, thoracentesis


• Recent inpatient and ICU experience required


• Option to extend assignment beyond initial year
