Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a Hospitalist for locum tenens assistance in New Mexico, covering nights from 7:30 pm to 7:30 am with a 7 on / 7 off schedule (~14 shifts per month) in Shiprock. The assignment includes inpatient ICU and med/surg coverage with approximately 0-3 admissions per night.

ICU coverage is required with vent management (BiPAP/CPAP, high flow nasal cannula) and central line placement.

Qualifications

• Inpatient hospital experience in an ICU setting is expected.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient hospital setting coverage in ICU and med/surg.
• ICU required with vent management (BiPAP/CPAP, high flow nasal cannula).
• Central line placement required.
• Paracentesis, LP, and thoracentesis preferred.
• Night shifts 7:30 pm – 7:30 am, 7 on / 7 off, ~14 shifts per month.
