Job summary

CompHealth is recruiting an experienced hematology/oncology specialist for a locum tenens assignment in a well-established network of facilities. The role involves rounding on assigned patients and managing admissions in an outpatient setting with chemo chairs and exam rooms.

The ideal candidate will be board-certified in hematology and oncology, hold BLS certification, and have fellowship training. Fellowship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Admit and round on assigned patients.
• Provide outpatient oncology/hematology care in a multi-chair clinic.
• Coordinate with credentialing and privileging teams for a smooth assignment.
• Ensure timely time-entry and documentation through the online portal.

• Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm, 8-hour shifts
• 25 patients per shift
• Outpatient setting -- 13 chemo chairs and 8 exam rooms
• Admissions required -- rounding on assigned patients
• Board certified in both hematology and oncology required
• BLS certification required -- fellowship training preferred
• Locums-to-perm opportunity
