Job summary

CompHealth is seeking an inpatient Hematology/Oncology specialist for a locums assignment in Marshfield, Wisconsin. The role focuses on acute leukemia care, chemotherapy management, and post-transplant patient care in a busy hospital setting.

Responsibilities include bone marrow biopsies as required, with on-site radiology support. Expect a 9-hour workday, 1:4 weekly call, and housing/travel arrangements provided by CompHealth.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Hematology/Oncology specialist with inpatient experience.
• Experience in managing acute leukemia and chemotherapy.
• Proficient in post-autologous stem cell transplant and post-CAR-T patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient hematology/oncology care for Acute Leukemia and chemo patients.
• Manage post-Autologous Stem Cell Transplant and post-CAR-T patients.
• Perform or assist with bone marrow biopsies as required.

• Mon - Fri, 8 am - 5 pm -- 9hr shift with 1hr lunch
• 1:4 weekly hospital call -- Friday 0730 to Friday 0730
• 15 patients per shift
• Inpatient hematology/oncology -- acute leukemia and chemo patients
• Post Autologous Stem Cell Transplant and post CAR-T patient care
• Bone marrow biopsies required
• Hematology/oncology trained required -- not medical oncology only
• Radiation oncology services available on site
