Job summary

Curative is seeking a Locum Gastroenterologist to provide coverage in Utah. The role covers outpatient, call, and inpatient care with a Trauma Level III facility. You will work across 7 shifts per month with block scheduling and 24-hour call coverage, and receive credentialing support with emergency temp privileges.

You will perform 4-5 procedures per call shift, mainly EGD and colonoscopies, including PEG tube placements and endoscopies, with EPIC EMR familiarity and EMR training required.

Qualifications

• Active Utah medical license is required.
• CSR certification and DEA registration required.
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR and completion of EMR training.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient, call, and inpatient gastroenterology coverage in a Trauma Level III facility.
• Perform EGD and colonoscopy with PEG tube placement and endoscopies as needed.
• Coordinate with MA, RN, Echo Tech, Lab Tech, Nuclear Tech and X-ray Tech to support patient care.
