Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a GI locum tenens physician for hospital assignments in Virginia. The role covers general GI as well as ERCP, with a schedule including holiday shifts from Thursday 5 pm to Monday 7 am and busy patient volume; hospital privileges and ACLS are required.

We provide paid malpractice insurance, pre-paid travel and housing expenses, and 24-hour access to a Weatherby consultant. Competitive compensation is offered, with charter membership in NALTO.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification required.
• ERCP experience required.
• General GI scope including upper and lower GI.

Responsibilities

• Provide locum tenens GI coverage in a hospital setting.
• Manage ERCP procedures as assigned.
• Coordinate patient care with hospital staff and schedule.
