Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare seeks a locum gastroenterologist for an outpatient GI practice in Maryland. The assignment involves performing upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, and related procedures in a Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm setting, with 8-hour shifts.

Flexible sigmoidoscopy and small bowel biopsy skills are required; paid malpractice, pre-paid travel and housing expenses, 24-hour access to Weatherby consultants, and competitive compensation are provided.

Qualifications

• Required: upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, and related procedures.
• Includes colonoscopy with biopsy and excision of polyp.
• Flexible sigmoidoscopy and small bowel biopsy skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform upper endoscopy (EGD) and colonoscopy procedures.
• Manage outpatient GI patients in a Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm setting.
• Utilize biopsy and polyp excision techniques as part of endoscopy care.

• Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm, 8-hour shifts
