Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a board-certified gastroenterologist for a locum assignment in Georgetown, South Carolina. The role offers a mix of inpatient and outpatient GI care, with a typical patient load of 12–15 per day, and 10–12 on procedure days. DEA and credentialing are required, and ERCP/EUS experience would be a bonus.

This assignment covers travel and housing expenses, and Weatherby provides 24/7 access to a dedicated consultant. Candidates must be willing to wait for licensure.

Qualifications

• Board certification in gastroenterology is required.
• Willing to wait for medical license in select cases.
• DEA license needed for practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide a mix of inpatient and outpatient GI care.
• Manage an average 12–15 total patients per day; 10–12 on procedure days.
• Credentialing and licensure tasks will be completed.
