Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a locum tenens physician to cover a Monday–Friday, 8:00–17:00 schedule with no call requirements in Lewiston, ME. The role includes seeing about 20 patients daily and ensuring hospital privileges are in place.

Travel and housing expenses are pre-paid, and malpractice insurance is provided. Assignments are managed through Weatherby’s online portal, with benefit of 24/7 consultant support and a charter member of NALTO.

Qualifications

• Hospital privileges required.
• Experience with hospital-based practice preferred.

Responsibilities

• See patients: approximately 20 per day.
• Work Monday to Friday, 8 am–5 pm with no call requirements.
• Assignments documented via online portal.
