Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a locum tenens Emergency Medicine physician for West Des Moines, IA to cover the adult ED with double coverage and 7–10 shifts per month. You will see a high-volume ED while enjoying Weatherby support.

Candidates must hold ATLS certification and have Level 2 trauma experience (Level 1 a plus); Epic EMR is in use. We cover malpractice, travel and housing, and provide 24/7 consultant access for assignment details and time entry in the online portal.

Qualifications

• ATLS certification is required.
• Level 2 trauma experience is required; Level 1 experience is a plus.
• Experience with Epic EMR system is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide adult emergency medicine coverage in a high-volume ED.
• Maintain double coverage model and support 7–10 shifts per month.
• Manage APP shifts and observation unit coverage when needed.
