Job summary

CompHealth is seeking an inpatient cardiologist for hospital-based assignments in South Carolina. You’ll be supported by a dedicated recruiter and back-office teams, with housing, travel arrangements, credentialing, licensing, and malpractice coverage arranged for you.

Expect 2 weeks per month of 5-day stretches, rounding on 7–8 inpatients daily, 3–7 surgical cases per day, and ablations with device implants. No Watchman cases; two labs with flip room available.

Responsibilities

• 2 weeks/month -- 5-day stretches, Mon - Fri, 8 am - 5 pm
• 7 - 8 max inpatients rounded on per day
• 3 - 7 surgical cases per day average
• Inpatient hospital setting
• General cardiologist assists with all rounding
• Ablations, device implants, bread and butter EP required
• No Watchman cases -- 2 labs with flip room available
• We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
• We arrange complimentary housing and travel and comprehensive malpractice coverage
• We simplify the credentialing and privileging process
• Access to online portal for assignment details and time entry
• Your specialized recruiter takes care of every detail
