Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a Locums Physician Assistant for an inpatient cardiology position in North Carolina. The role involves rounding, performing consults, and supporting cardiologists in an inpatient setting.

Schedule: M – F 8 am – 6 pm and/or 7 on 7 off with occasional weekends. Expect 10–12 patients per shift and daily rounding on assigned patients. In-house call is 1:4 with up to 15 admissions per call; EMR is Cerner; inpatient only with no outpatient responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Inpatient cardiology rounding, consults, and support required.
• Inpatient only practice — no outpatient responsibilities.
• Previous locums experience in inpatient cardiology preferred.
• EMR: Cerner.
