Job summary

CompHealth is seeking an experienced OB anesthesia provider to join a team that covers OB and OR cases with in-house call shifts on weekdays and weekends. The role includes performing epidurals and spinals for OB procedures and supporting a broad spectrum of cases such as ortho, vascular, thoracic, robotics, ENT, gyn, and urology.

Expect assistance with credentialing, licensing, housing, travel, and malpractice coverage.

Qualifications

• Experience in OB and OR anesthesia.
• Ability to perform epidurals and spinals for OB cases.
• Experience with a variety of surgical cases (ortho, vascular, thoracic, robotics, ENT, gyn, urology).
• Comfort with in-house or on-call shifts and long hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide OB and OR anesthesia for assigned shifts (weekdays and weekends).
• Perform epidurals and spinal anesthesia for OB cases.
• Support a wide range of surgical specialties with anesthesia care.
• Coordinate credentialing, licensing, housing, travel and malpractice coverage with CompHealth teams.

• OB and OR in-house call shifts available -- weekdays and weekends
• Weekday call: 3 pm - 7 am; weekend call: 7 am - 7 am
• Standard shifts: 7 am - 5 pm, 7 am - 7 pm, or 3 pm - 11 pm
• 8-hour mandatory rest required after 24-hour shift
• General anesthesia and regional anesthesia required
• OB coverage required -- epidurals and spinals for OB cases
• Cases include ortho, vascular, thoracic, robotics, ENT, gyn, urology
• Healthy pediatric anesthesia experience required
