Job summary

CompHealth is seeking a hospital-based physician to join a secure practice in New Mexico. The scheduled shifts run 3 weeks standard Mon–Fri 7 am–3 pm, with a dedicated on-call week from 7 pm–7 am Monday to Thursday; no daytime call during the remaining three weeks in the month.

Responsibilities include managing four operating rooms and handling bread-and-butter cases such as OB, orthopedics, regional anesthesia, acute pain, and preop procedures.

Qualifications

• Board-certified physician required for hospital-based practice.
• Must have valid board certification in relevant surgical specialty.

Responsibilities

• Operate and oversee four operating rooms in a hospital setting.
• Perform bread-and-butter cases including OB, orthopedics, regional anesthesia, acute pain and preoperative procedures.
• No daytime call during two of the three weeks each month; standard schedule Monday–Friday, 7 am–3 pm; on-call week 7 pm–7 am Monday–Thursday.
