Job summary

CompHealth seeks a locum tenens anesthesiologist for a facility in California. In-house OB/OR call shifts are available on weekdays and weekends, with standard shifts to choose from. General and regional anesthesia are required for this assignment.

The role includes OB coverage with epidurals and spinals for OB cases and a mix of cases such as ortho, vascular, thoracic, robotics, ENT, gyn and urology. Pediatric anesthesia experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Pediatric anesthesia experience is required.
• OB and OR anesthesia experience with in-house call.
• Ability to perform OB epidurals/spinals.

Responsibilities

• Provide general and regional anesthesia for OB and OR cases.
• Cover OB with epidurals and spinals for OB patients.
• Handle a diverse case mix including ortho, vascular, thoracic, robotics, ENT, gyn and urology.
• Attend in-house call shifts on weekdays and weekends.
