Job summary

Kids Dental in Tacoma, WA is seeking a General or Pediatric Dentist (Locum Tenens) to provide compassionate care in a child-focused team. This temporary, full-time opportunity offers a flexible schedule and weekly direct deposit pay.

The role involves treating pediatric patients, performing operative dentistry, SSC crowns, fillings, pulpotomies, sealants, and hygiene exams, with a high patient volume in a collaborative practice.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited program.
• Active WA dental license (or ability to obtain).
• Comfortable treating children.
• Active Medicaid Provider ID required or application submitted.
• All credentialing and documentation must be completed at least one week prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive general dentistry to pediatric patients.
• Maintain strong daily production while delivering quality care.
• Deliver patient-centered treatment in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
• Comfortable with pediatric procedures including SSC crowns, fillings, pulpotomies, sealants, and hygiene exams.
• Must be able to perform both operative dentistry and hygiene checks.
• Ability to manage high patient volume (55+ patients per day)
