Job summary

Palm Careers is seeking a Locum Tenen Pediatric Cardiac Surgery Nurse Practitioner in Los Angeles, CA. The assignment lasts 7 months with a minimum commitment of 12 shifts every four weeks and a 1099 contract. The team supports 24/7/365 operations with varied schedules.

The NP will collaborate with Cardiac Intensivist teams, perform comprehensive assessments, and manage care across the cardiovascular pediatric population in the ICU. Housing, travel, mileage and malpractice are provided.

Qualifications

• 2 Years of Experience
• Ped Adv Life Supp Instr (AHA)
• 2 years experience of clinical nursing within in Pediatric Critical Care (PICU, NICU, CTICU)

Responsibilities

• Deliver cardiac surgery patient population collaboratively with the Division Cardiac Intensivist's teams.
• Provide comprehensive physical assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation for patients and families.
• Offer acute resuscitation, ongoing multi-disciplinary medical management and transitional care in the critical care arena.
