Palm Health is hiring an experienced Pediatric Inpatient Cardiac Surgery Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Dallas, TX. You will join a growing team in the Pediatric Cardiac ICU and/or floor, focusing on post-operative pediatric patients.

Expected shifts are 12–13 hours (days and overnights) with weekend rotations; at least 8 shifts every four weeks are required.

Qualifications

• Pediatric Acute Care NP certification or Physician Assistant licensure required.
• Minimum of 1 year pediatric critical care APP experience.
• 13-week assignment with start flexibility (April/June 2026).

Responsibilities

• Provide support in the Pediatric Cardiac ICU and floor units for postoperative patients.
• Work 12–13 hour day/night shifts with weekend rotation.
• Cover 8+ shifts every four weeks.

We are hiring for 13-weeks to start!

Target Start: April 2026 or June 2026!

End: 13 weeks to start!!

You will be part of our team growth as we open up a new unit to better serve our pediatric population in the area.You will be working in the Cardiac Pediatric Cardiac ICU and/or Floor Unit providing support to littlest post operation patients.The candidate must have at least one year of pediatric critical care advanced practice provider experience. Well rounded job summary with an exceptional team!

The candidate will be working mostly in the Ped Cardiac ICU with some potential coverage on the floor on occasion.Candidate must be an Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner certification or experienced Physician Assistant.

Shift: 12-13 hour shifts: they will be days and overnights, with weekends mixed in too.Must be available for 8+ shifts every four weeks!!

Floor Unit:6-8 beds
