Weatherby Healthcare in Texas is seeking a board-certified pathologist for full-time locum tenens coverage. The role covers grossing, frozen sections, bone marrow biopsy, hematopathology, cytology, pediatric tumor pathology, microbiology, serology, and blood bank work.

Schedule is 8am-5pm Monday-Friday with 9-hour shifts, night and weekend on-call, with potential ongoing coverage into 2027. Weatherby provides paid malpractice, pre-paid travel and housing, and 24/7 consultant support.

Qualifications

• Pathology duties including grossing and tissue analysis.
• On-call responsibilities with night and weekend rotations.
• Coverage extending into 2027 is possible.
• Travel and housing are pre-paid; malpractice is provided.

Responsibilities

• Full-time schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm with 9 hr shifts.
• Night call after clinic; ~10% average callback.
• Weekend on-call required.
• Assignment details entered in the online portal.
