Position Overview

• Potential Location: There may be a requirement to float to the San Jose clinic, although initial assignments will be local.
• Coverage Duration: Start date is as soon as possible, pending credentialing, with an expectation to cover through the end of the year and potentially longer.
• Work Environment: Outpatient Clinic setting.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
• On-Call Requirements: No on-call responsibilities.
• Clinical Duties: Responsibilities will primarily involve gynecological procedures such as Pap smears and cervical cancer screenings. Candidates must have obstetric experience to conduct well-woman visits, including prenatal care.
• Patient Volume: Anticipated patient load is approximately 12 patients per 4-hour block, with 24 scheduled across an 8-hour day, though actual patient encounters typically range from 21 to 22 per shift.
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR): The clinic utilizes EPIC for patient management.
• Credentialing Process: Estimated to take around 60 days from the submission of the application.
• Required Certifications: Candidates must be Board Certified and possess a BLS certification from the American Heart Association. A valid California medical license is mandatory.
