Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is assisting with locum tenens orthopedic assignments in Indiana. Work is 100% outpatient with a typical schedule of 32 patients per day (30 scheduled, 2 add-ons), four surgeries daily and ER call.

Orthopedic focus includes fractures, dislocations, amputations, deformities, and tumors; arthroscopy and total joint replacement are required. Hours are Mon–Thu 8 am–5 pm and Fri 8 am–12 pm, with no weekends or holidays.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with general orthopedics including fractures and dislocations.
• Experience with arthroscopy and total joint replacement preferred or required.
• Experience with joint revision or repair in shoulder, hip or knee.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient orthopedics with average patient load.
• Perform arthroscopy and total joint replacement procedures.
• Be available for ER call.
• Travel and housing expenses are prepaid; malpractice insurance is paid.
• Enter assignment details in the online portal.
