Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking an OB/GYN specialist for both outpatient and inpatient coverage in Maine. The assignment includes office and hospital duties with a 20-minute pager response and a 1:2 call ratio.

You will manage high- and low-risk pregnancies, perform C-sections, and conduct laparoscopic procedures, including major cases, with required OB ultrasound skills. Weatherby provides paid malpractice, pre-paid travel and housing, 24-hour access to a specialty consultant, and is a charter

Responsibilities

• Office and hotel pager call with a 20-minute response time.
• Rounding on assigned patients: 13–18 per shift.
• Call ratio 1:2 with a 3% callback rate.
• Outpatient and inpatient OB/GYN coverage with call.
• Manage high- and low-risk pregnancies.
• Perform C-sections and handle complicated deliveries.
• Laparoscopic procedures required, including major cases.
• OB ultrasound skills required.
