Job summary

Aya Locums has an immediate opening for a locum Obstetrics/Gynecology physician in Dover, OH. The assignment spans 13 weeks with a 24-hour on-call schedule, typically 19:00–07:00. Start date 11-01-26, at an acute care hospital, with compensation of $2,000–$2,400 per day.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Residency in obstetrics and gynecology (ACGME or AOA) required.
• Board certification in OB/GYN (ABOG or AOA).
• Active and unrestricted Ohio medical license.
• Minimum of 1 year obstetrics/gynecology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive healthcare for women across life stages.
• Perform gynecological exams, ultrasounds and diagnostic procedures.
• Perform surgeries such as hysterectomies and cesarean sections as allowed.
• Diagnose and treat women’s health conditions and counsel on family planning.
• Maintain accurate medical records and stay current with OB/GYN advances.
