Job summary

Aya Locums has an immediate opening for a locum Obstetrics/Gynecology physician in Elkins, West Virginia. The assignment requires on-site coverage with 24-hour on-call shifts, starting 12-07-26 for 26 weeks, at a daily rate of $1,600–$2,000.

The role includes performing obstetric and gynecologic care, ultrasounds, and surgeries as scope allows, with travel and lodging coverage and full credentialing support provided by Aya Locums.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Residency in obstetrics and gynecology (ACGME or AOA).
• Board certification in OB/GYN by ABOG or AOA.
• Active and unrestricted WV medical license.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive healthcare for women across all life stages.
• Conduct gynecological exams, ultrasounds and diagnostic procedures.
• Perform surgeries such as hysterectomies and cesarean sections (scope dependent).
• Diagnose and treat women’s health conditions.
• Counsel on reproduction, contraception and family planning.
