Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare seeks an experienced OB/GYN for locum tenens assignments across the United States. The position includes on-call coverage Friday to Monday from 5 pm to 5 am, plus every fifth weekend.

Expect about five patients per shift and responsibilities spanning high- and low-risk pregnancies, routine and complex deliveries, and open or laparoscopic gynecology. Required skills include OB ultrasound, amniocentesis, laceration repairs, FHR interpretation, and forceps delivery.

Qualifications

• Board-certified OB/GYN with valid license in the US.
• Experience managing low- and high-risk pregnancies is required.
• Proficiency in vaginal and C-section deliveries, breech and VBACs.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-call coverage Friday to Monday 5 pm–5 am; every 5th weekend on call.
• Manage low- and high-risk pregnancies and perform deliveries.
• Conduct routine and complex deliveries (vaginal, C-section, breech, VBAC).
• Perform open and laparoscopic gynecologic procedures.
• Obstetric ultrasound, amniocentesis, laceration repairs as needed.
• Interpret FHR and assist with forceps delivery.
• Document assignments and time entries in the online portal.
