Job summary

Locum Tenens.com is seeking an obstetrician-gynecologist to provide outpatient and clinic-based obstetric and gynecologic coverage at a 202-bed facility in Petoskey, Michigan. The assignment runs from August through the end of the year, with day shifts on-site and call duties including weeknights and 24-hour weekend calls.

The clinician must be board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, with an expected volume of about 1.5 deliveries per day and two NPs on staff to support care.

• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required.
• Outpatient and clinic-based obstetric and gynecologic coverage.
• Coverage includes day shifts with call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient and clinic obstetric and gynecologic care at an on-site facility.
• Handle weeknight calls and 24-hour beeper calls on weekends; anticipate ~1.5 deliveries per day.
• Work with 2 NPs for support and participate in full-scope obstetric/gynecologic services.
