Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is assisting an OB/GYN facility in Alabama with locum tenens coverage. The assignment includes deliveries, cesarean sections, and emergent GYN procedures; circumcisions are not required and are handled by pediatricians.

The pager may be used, but you do not have to stay on site, and you must be available within 20 minutes when called. Vacation coverage is offered, and we provide paid malpractice insurance plus prepaid travel and housing.

Qualifications

• Deliveries and cesarean sections required for OB/GYN coverage.
• Emergent GYN procedures may be required in ED.
• Circumcisions are not required; handled by pediatricians.

Responsibilities

• Provide OB/GYN coverage for the assigned facility with ED OB cases.
• Remain available within 20 minutes when called; pager use as needed.
• Coordinate care and time-entry via the online portal.
