Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a board-certified obstetrician for locum tenens coverage in Las Cruces, NM. The position involves both inpatient and outpatient obstetric care with OB ultrasounds and interpretation required, including C-sections, VBAC, breech births, and managing multiple gestations.

Expected volume includes ~1,500 deliveries per year. Amniocentesis and repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations are part of the duties.

Qualifications

• Board-certified obstetrician with active U.S. licensure.
• OB ultrasound: performance and interpretation required.
• Inpatient and outpatient practice setting in Las Cruces, NM.

Responsibilities

• Perform OB ultrasounds with interpretation.
• Manage C-sections, VBAC, breech presentations, multiple births and abruptions.
• Contribute to approximately 1,500 deliveries per year; provide amniocentesis as needed.
