Job summary

CompHealth offers locum assignments in obstetrics and gynecology, including on-call duties with a 25-minute response requirement. You will handle high-volume obstetric cases, perform Level I/II ultrasounds, and participate in surgical gynecology both open and laparoscopic. Housing, travel arrangements, and malpractice coverage are provided.

Assignments vary from short-day stints to multi-year placements, with expert guidance from a dedicated recruiter to fit your career stage.

Qualifications

• Licensed physician with OB/GYN board certification.
• Ability to manage obstetric cases including high-risk deliveries.
• Comfort with on-call responsibilities and fast response times.

Responsibilities

• Provide obstetric care with a focus on complex deliveries (C-section, VBAC, breech).
• Perform Level I/II OB ultrasounds and interpret findings.
• Conduct amniocentesis and repair of third and fourth degree lacerations as needed.
• Engage in surgical gynecology, both open and laparoscopic.
• Coordinate with credentialing and privileging processes.
• Work within hospital privileges and maintain high-quality patient care.
