Job summary

LocumTenens.com is seeking an MD with OB/GYN qualifications to provide obstetric and gynecologic care in a Des Moines, Iowa on-site facility. The assignment runs ASAP and continues with a one-week-on, one-week-off schedule, including day shifts, call, and 24-hour call.

Responsibilities include clinic and OR coverage for adult patients, with prescriptive authority required. The team includes 1.5 FP/OB physicians; no APPs or CNMs in OB, and 24/7 anesthesia call provided by a partner group.

Qualifications

• Must provide obstetric and gynecologic care in clinic and OR.
• Prescriptive authority is required for this position.
• On-site assignment in a critical access facility in Iowa.
• Call coverage (including 24-hour on-call) is a standard component.

Responsibilities

• Clinic coverage with patient volume 16-18 per day
