Job summary

Medicus Healthcare Solutions is seeking a board-certified OB/GYN to provide locum tenens coverage at a hospital in western Illinois. Schedule is 8a-5p with beeper call from 5p-8a, in an OP clinic setting adjacent to a Level II nursery. Annual patient census is around 20 per day with 20–25 deliveries monthly.

Anesthesiologists/CRNAs available around the clock; CNM/OB-GYN/WHNP and RNs provide support. Cerner EMR is used; travel and lodging are paid.

Qualifications

• Must be board-certified in OB/GYN.
• Locum tenens coverage needed at a hospital in western Illinois.
• EMR: Cerner used for charting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide OB/GYN locum tenens coverage at the hospital.
• Assist with deliveries and obstetric procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with CNM, OB/GYN, WHNP, RNs and support staff.
