Job summary

Medicus has partnered with a hospital located one hour from Indianapolis, Indiana, that has an opening for an OB/GYN physician to provide locum tenens coverage.

The assignment requires board-certified obstetrics/gynecology expertise and in-house call, with responsibility for deliveries, inpatient care, ED consults, and gynecologic procedures; travel and lodging are paid, ABLS is required.

ABLS certification and Cerner EMR experience are considered assets for this assignment.

Qualifications

• Board-certified OB/GYN required.
• ABLS certification required.
• Experience managing deliveries and gynecologic procedures is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage OB/GYN patients, deliveries, admissions, inpatient care and ED consults.
• Perform C-sections, amniocentesis, laceration repair and gynecologic surgeries.
• Interpret OB ultrasound (preferred).
